Around 100 delegates from 60 different companies came together for two days of interesting and insightful presentations, lively discussions, and great networking in the beautiful city of Valencia, making Cleaning Products Europe 2011 a huge success for all involved.
Programme highlights:
- Keynote presentations from leading brand owners, PROCTER & GAMBLE, UNILEVER and DIVERSEY covered three key themes for the industry as a whole; sustainable innovation, sustainable consumer behaviour and sustainable water management
- Perspectives from the appliance sector were aired by CECED representative David Molina de Ramon
- Sascha Nissen at A.I.S.E. presented an update on A.I.S.E.'s Charter for Sustainable Cleaning, which prompted delegates to consider adopting sustainable management strategies.
- Delegates received the lowdown on the lessons to be learned from REACH and the next stages of the policy from REACHReady Director Jo Lloyd.
- Innovations in phosphate alternatives were presented and discussed on day 2 of the conference by speakers from BASF, Genencor, AkzoNobel, Novozymes and Rhodia
